Frequently asked questions
How do I fix text typed with Caps Lock on?
Paste it and choose “Sentence case”: everything becomes lowercase and the first letter of each sentence becomes uppercase. Names will need a quick manual touch.
Does Title Case follow AP or Chicago style?
No. It capitalizes every word. Style guides keep short words like “of” and “the” lowercase, so adjust those by hand if you need a formal headline.
What are camelCase and snake_case?
Ways to write names in code without spaces: camelCase (myVariableName), PascalCase (MyVariableName), snake_case (my_variable_name), kebab-case (my-variable-name) and CONSTANT_CASE (MY_VARIABLE_NAME).
