Will these symbols work on Instagram and WhatsApp?
Yes. They're standard Unicode characters, so they work in posts, bios, names and messages on any modern device.
How do I type symbols on my keyboard?
On Windows press Windows + . (period) to open the emoji and symbol panel. On a Mac press Control + Command + Space. On phones, long-press keys or switch to the symbol keyboard.
Why do some symbols look different on my phone?
Each device draws symbols with its own font, and a few (like ❤ or ✔) may appear as colorful emoji instead of plain symbols.
