How the score is worked out
Percentage = points earned ÷ total points × 100. Most US schools then use a 10-point letter scale; some add plus and minus grades or set their own cut-offs, so check your syllabus.

| A | 90–100% |
| B | 80–89% |
| C | 70–79% |

How many can I get wrong and still get an A?
On a 20-question test, 2 wrong is 90% (an A). On a 50-question test you can miss 5.
